For many years, Tom Peters has been a great source of thought about management and marketing strategy. Since his days writing In Search of Excellence, as well as follow up materials, I haven’t always agreed with him, but he has always made his positions clear, and made me think about my own positions on the same issues. Sixteen books or so later, he’s still a widely recognized and widely quoted strategy guru.
In fact, Tom Peters was one of the original and early strategy gurus, paving the way for future management thinkers, such as Jim Collins.
