As part of MMR Strategy Group’s recent expansion, we are proud to announce our new Vice President, Dr. Lucas Carden. Dr. Carden has expertise in consumer decision making, habit formation and change, and survey research.
Dr. Carden has worked on legal matters involving trademark, patent, and false advertising disputes in a variety of venues, including federal courts, state courts, the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau, and the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. As a consultant, he has conducted consumer research for Fortune 500 companies such as Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, and Intel. He has also conducted educational workshops on best practices in survey methodology for researchers at Abbott Laboratories. In an academic context, Dr. Carden has published peer-reviewed research in psychology and consumer behavior journals, presented his research at academic conferences, and has held academic positions at the USC Marshall School of Business and Occidental College.
Dr. Carden earned a PhD in psychology with a concentration in social and consumer psychology at the University of Southern California, under the supervision of Dr. Wendy Wood and Dr. Norbert Schwarz. He also holds an MS in human behavior from the University of Southern California and a BS in psychology from the University of Kentucky. Welcome, Dr. Carden!
