The HubSpot Internet Marketing blog posted a useful article, “How to Design a Marketing Survey That Yields Legitimate Results.” While most of their advice may seem like common sense,
it never hurts to be reminded of the proper steps to take to help ensure the time and effort you put into your surveys yield valid results.
The article reminds us of the importance of doing a bit of homework prior to drafting the survey, including deciding on how you’ll use the data. It stresses the importance of getting early buy-in from key stakeholders, and continues with great tips on survey design and the mistakes to avoid, as well as other valuable techniques.
At MMR Strategy, we develop and implement surveys on a regular basis in numerous areas including, Customer Loyalty & Retention, Pricing, Claim Substantiation, and IP Litigation.
